The Educated Bride: Airbrush Makeup

I often receive the same questions in reference to wedding day makeup. Do you provide airbrush makeup services and what is airbrush makeup? Well, ofcourse I do and in an effort to take the mystery out of Airbrush makeup please keep reading.

 What is traditional makeup?

Traditional makeup consist of either creams, liquids or powder foundation (depending on client skin type) It should last for a while but doesn't have the staying power of airbrushed makeup and requires touch ups.

What is Airbrush Makeup?

Airbrushing is a patented makeup application technique that utilizes compressed air through an “airbrush” gun with drops of color ie; foundation, eyeshadow, blush etc. It is suitable for women of all ages and every skin condition. The makeup is hypoallergenic and fragrance free. Highly recommended and sought after by the modern bride, this form of makeup application can provide both light medium and full coverage.

How does it feel?

Airbrush makeup is exceptionally lightweight. As millions of droplets are sprayed onto the skin, it allows  the make to sit on top of the skin instead of settling into lines or wrinkles. Most clients say they feel as if they aren’t even wearing makeup. That's an awesome plus for the ladies who aren't use to wearing alot of makeup.

 What are the benefits?

Airbrush
makeup provides flawless coverage by minimizing skin imperfections while giving skin a beautifully natural finished looking result. Airbrush makeup is water resistant and will last for 12 to 24 hours. Along with durability, airbrush makeup requires very little to no touch ups.
